Strawberry and apricot jam are delicious, but can also be boring at some point. For some variety, e.g. these 4 kiwi jam recipes.

Kiwifruit can be combined with many fruits. While the southern fruit was still unknown to our grandparents, the kiwi fruit boomed in the 80s and continues to this day. No wonder, because kiwis are not only delicious and true vitamin bombs, they can also be processed in a variety of ways.

For example, with liqueur, smoothies or jam. And it doesn't even have to consist of hairy fruits. You can also combine them with strawberries, bananas, pineapples and apples, for example. In principle, you can combine all the fruits you want with each other. These four delicious creations may give you some inspiration.

Recipe No. 1 - simple kiwi jam

Ingredients:

  • 1 kg of kiwi fruit
  • 500 g jam sugar 2: 1

Preparation:

First of all, you have to peel and chop the kiwi fruit. Then put in a saucepan with the jam sugar. If the kiwifruit is slightly acidic, just let it stand for a few hours with the sugar. Then puree the mixture, bring to a boil and continue to boil for about 4 minutes. If the gelling test is successful, then put it in jam jars.

➤ A little tip:

If you like, you can also scrape out a vanilla pod and put the pulp in the jam. It also tastes really great.

Recipe No. 2 - strawberry and kiwi jam

Ingredients:

  • 500 gr of strawberries
  • 500 gr kiwi fruit
  • 500 g jam sugar 2: 1
  • 2 packs of vanilla sugar
  • 1 pack of citric acid

Preparation:

First wash the strawberries and peel the kiwis. Then cut everything into small pieces and put them in a saucepan. Then mix with the gelling sugar, citric acid and vanilla sugar and let stand for about 2 hours. Then boil the mixture for about 3 minutes and stir from time to time. Then immediately pour into prepared jars and close them.

➤ A little tip:

A little pepper goes very well with this strawberry and kiwi jam. Simply add 2 teaspoons of pickled, crushed green pepper and see for yourself.

Recipe No. 3 - apple and kiwi jam

Ingredients:

  • 500 gr kiwi fruit
  • 500 gr apples
  • 500 g jam sugar 2: 1
  • 1 pack of citric acid

Preparation:

First peel the fruit, cut it into small pieces and then puree it. Cook apples a little soft beforehand. Then add the jam sugar and citric acid and boil for about 5 minutes. If the gelling test is successful, you can fill the jam directly into hot rinsed jars.

➤ A little tip:

During the Christmas season, a little bit of honey and some cinnamon go well with this jam.
